A Little About Makena
Bordering Wailea to the north is the lovely town of Makena on Maui’s southern shore. The community’s beautiful and striking coastline draws prospective residents and tourists to the area. Located on Makena Road is the historic Keawala’i Congressional Church. Founded in 1832, the Church overlooks the ocean and is constructed of lava rock. In addition to its beautiful beach and historic attractions, Makena also offers its residents and guests excellent dining.
