A Little About Nawiliwili

Experience Hawaii untamed at the beautiful seaport of Nawiliwili on the south end of the island of Kauai.  Amidst lush mountain ranges and breathtaking beaches, Nawiliili’s picturesque scenery, stunning landmarks, and small town Hawaiian life make it a beautiful place to live and an excellent location to visit.  Nawiliwili’s most famous landmark is Nawiliwili Harbor, Kauai’s major seaport since 1930.   A number of beautiful beaches surround the area, including Niumalu Beach Park, which is great for kayaking.    Showers, restrooms, and picnic tables are part of the Park’s facilities.  Another beach in the Nawiliwili area includes Kalapaki Beach, conveniently situated at the front of the Kauai Marriott Resort and Beach Club.  Located on Rice Road and at the entrance of Nawiliwili Harbor, Kalapaki Beach’s long stretch of white sand and beautiful surf draws many to its shore.  The beach offers excellent swimming, is located near the Anchor Cove Shopping Center, and is in close proximity to additional activities like surf lessons and kayak tours.

Nawiliwili’s close proximity to the community of Lihue gives its residents and visitors an additional surplus of recreational activities and attractions.  More great shopping can be found at the Kukui Grove Center, which is a one-stop shop for all essentials.  From apparel to shoes, residents and visitors will be sure to find everything they need at the shopping complex.  Whichever beach you choose, you will be sure to have a relaxing and fun time. Nawiliwili’s close proximity to the nearby community of Lihue offers residents and visitors additional shopping, restaurants and eateries, recreational activities, and attractions within the area.  For example, Lihue’s Kukui Grove Shopping Center is the one-stop shop for essential goods and services.  Landmarks, like Wailua falls, and historic attractions, like the Grove Farm Homestead and the Kilohana Plantation, are easily accessible to both residents and guests.
